About
I’m not explaining aging from a textbook
I’m explaining it as one who is living it day-to-day. That is not a weakness in the teaching — it is the whole reason it works.

Sharon Caswell · Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas
I spent a full career in technology — technical writing, business analysis, training and process improvement — and I never stopped keeping up. AI is not the first wave I have had to make sense of and explain to people who had every reason to be sceptical.
What technical writing taught me is that complexity is almost never the problem. Bad explanation is. Nearly everything people are told about AI is written by someone who has forgotten what it is like not to already know.
What business analysis taught me is that the stated need and the real need are rarely the same thing. People say they want to learn AI. What they usually want is to stop feeling left behind and to know that when they answer the phone they will be safe from fraud or a scam.
And what being a super-senior taught me is that no one over sixty wants a twenty-nine-year-old telling them this will be easy. They want someone who knows exactly why it isn’t, and can show them anyway.
